There has been a lot of news lately about next year's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, so fans might have forget DC and Warner Bros. have a ton more movies lined up.You might have heard some early rumors about the upcoming Wonder Women movie. Well those rumors have been confirmed Chris Pine will be playing Steve Trevor. That's not the only Wonder Women news. It seems DC is trying to play catch up as Wonder Women is slated to begin production this fall, with a June 23, 2017 release date. This will be quickly followed by the Justice League, which beings production in the beginning of 2016. It will be released in theatres on November 17, 2017. So even though these movies might be a few years out, it seems DC/Warner Bros. is looking to pick up pace.At their current rate it looks like they can probably film two movies a year and then release two a year in theaters.Abrams was recently on The Daily Show, where he was supposed to being talking about his new film Mission: Impossible ¨C Rogue Nation. Instead Jon Stewart wanted to talk about Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He actually got some interesting information out of Abrams. If you recall a while back there was some news that Harrison Ford hurt himself on the set of the movie. It looks like that was true and Ford wasn't the only one that got hurt. While trying to help Ford, Abrams end up hurting himself. Speaking about the incident he told Stewart, "There was a hydraulic door that went down, he was pushed down, and his ankle went 90 degrees. I'm trying to lift it up, because that's the kind of guy I am," he said. "I'm trying to lift this door and I hear a pop [in my back] and I go, 'Oh, that's weird.' So I go to the doctor a couple of days alter and he goes, 'Oh, you have a broken back.'"Now that is a serious injury. He went on to tell Stewart. "A few months later I'm still wearing this really silly back brace under my shirt, nobody knows, I didn't tell anybody. Harrison Ford from across the stage sprints to me faster than I will ever run, and he's like 'Hey, J.J.!'"Well you know what they say no pain, no gain. Once The Force Awakens is released, Abrams is sure to forget about his back, considering how much excitement will be happening around that time.Michael Lombardo, president of programming for HBO, was recently at the Television Critics Association, where he spilled some news on Game of Thrones. He was asked how long HBO plans to have Game of Thrones run. If you remember correctly the showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have said several times that they do not want to drag this series out.It looks like HBO is now on the same page as them. Speaking on the matter Lombardo said "Seven seasons and out has never been a conversationˇ David and Dan are feeling there's probably two more years after Season 6, that's what we're looking at right now. We hope that they would change their mind, but that's how they are feeling now."There was also talks of maybe a prequel to the show. Elaborating on the possibility he said, "Look, I would be open to anything that Dan and David wanted to do, on Game of Thrones or any subject matter. It's purely for us on what they want to do. I think there's enormous storytelling to be mined. At this point, all focus is on figuring out the next few years of the show so we haven't had a conversation beyond that point."Season six of Game of Thrones is currently filming and will premiere sometime next spring. So with this news it sounds like the show won't be ending until 2018. Which means if they ended up doing a prequel, the earliest it would appear would be sometime after 2018.It seems every time an actor is cast as a comic book character the fan community goes up in arms. They bash the casting and tell the actor he is going to ruin their favorite superhero. It was no different for Michael B. Jordan, who is playing The Human Torch in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie. The reason people were not happy with Jordan being cast as Johnny Storm, is because in the comics Johnny Storm is white and Jordan is black. Most fans aren't upset about his skin color changing, they are upset that anything about the character has changed. Comic book fans hate when movie studios change their beloved character in any shape or form, even the smallest details. In a recent interview Stan Lee echoed this idea saying:"They're outraged not because of any personal prejudice. They're outraged because they hate to see any change made on a series and characters they had gotten familiar with. In Spider-Man, when they got a new actor, that bothered them, even though it was a white actor. I don't think it had to do with racial prejudice as much as they don't like things changed."Stan Lee went on to reassure fans that he believes Jordan will be the perfect Johnny Storm saying, "But I think they're gonna get to love this character. So I'm not the least bit worried about it. I always tried to pepper these groups with as much racial diversity as possible because that's the way the world is."Fantastic Four opens in theatres on August 7th, so you'll be able to see how well Jordan does as Johnny Storm soon enough.
